Frame it yourself

At Framers' Workshop you can do your own framing, have us do it for you, or buy the materials — framing stock, mats, glass, and backing — and have them cut to order the same day.

You can even bring in all your own materials and use our space and vast expertise — 100 years of it, we figure, combining the experience of all our staff — to assemble your own framed piece.

Here's how it works:

You bring in your art, and we'll help you pick the materials — frame molding, mat, glass, and backing — that'll work best for what you're framing.

Next, we send you and your tools to your own workbooth while we cut your materials and bring them to you. Then one of our employees will help you, step by step.

If we leave you alone for a little while, just scream or whimper, and we'll return to help you. When in doubt, ask us questions. If you do something wrong, we'll right it. Hey, it happens to almost everybody.

Do-it-yourself will usually take you forty-five to ninety minutes.

Don't have the time, will, or patience to do it yourself? Come in with your art, we'll help you pick materials, and we'll do it for you. We charge you a little extra, depending on how long it'll take us to assemble, and we'll have your art back to you within 10 to 14 days.
